Unexpected Closure of Childminder Setting
At Little Acorns, we endeavour to provide childcare for the hours and times that we are contracted to work. However, very occasionally it may be necessary to close our setting. This may be as a result of us being unwell and therefore unable to work.

There may be other occasions when we are unable to provide a service, for example:
- Following emergency evacuation of our premises
- Loss of power to our setting
- Mains water turned off
- Heating broken
- Gas Leak
- Flooding
- Medical emergency for either of us or a member of our immediate families
- Strategic Forced Closure (as with pandemic/epidemic)
- Death within the families
- Whole Staff Training Days, (INSET)
We will advise parents as soon as we can if we are unable to provide a service. Please make sure that your contact details are correct, and to help us, please acknowledge our message as soon as you read it so that we can avoid sending you repeat messages. We will make no charge if we are unable to provide a service.
